M. Christopher (“Chris”) Murphy is a Partner at Greenbelt Capital Partners. His primary area of focus is in the new energy economy, where he is responsible for developing investment themes, originating and executing new investment opportunities and providing ongoing portfolio company support. Prior to the founding of Greenbelt Capital Partners in 2021, Chris was a Partner of Business Development at Trilantic North America. Chris remains a Senior Advisor to Trilantic North America. Chris joined Trilantic North America in 2013, prior to which he was an Associate at The Sterling Group, an operationally focused private equity fund, and an Analyst in Jefferies’ Energy Investment Banking Group, in Houston, Texas. He holds an M.B.A. from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth, where he was elected an Amos Tuck Scholar, and a B.A. in History and Religion from Dartmouth College.
