Debora “Deb” Frodl is an experienced independent director, global C-suite executive, global strategist, and industry thought leader in growth acceleration, innovation, energy transition, and environmental, social, and governance issues. Over her distinguished 28-year career at General Electric (“GE”), Deb has been at the helm of driving differentiated commercial strategies and developing creative business models. Her experience encompasses board governance in public and private, small and mid-cap companies and corporate P&L leadership at GE.
Deb currently serves on the Board of Directors at ITC Holdings Corporation, Renewable Energy Group, Inc., Spring Valley Acquisition Corporation, and Spruce Power Holdings Corporation, where she serves as Chair of the Board. Renewable Energy Group, Inc., Spring Valley Corporation, and Spruce Power Holdings Corporation have been acquired, merged, and executed a transformational acquisition, respectively, while Deb has been involved with the companies. A respected governance advocate, Deb has a track record of enhancing board structure, composition and process to improve board and committee effectiveness.
Formerly, as Global Executive Director of Ecomagination at GE, Deb repositioned the company’s clean technology and sustainability strategy into one of multi-faceted innovation and expansive global growth. She executed on GE’s commitment, $25 billion in Ecomagination innovation investment that generated over $300B in revenues.
Deb graduated from Minnesota State University with a BSBA and received an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.
