Trilantic North America Partner Glenn Jacobson Featured on The Energy Council’s Investor Podcast
Trilantic North America Partner Glenn Jacobson recently spoke with the Energy Council about the evolution of the energy investment landscape and the current state of the market amid the pandemic-induced recession.
He weighed in on the shift of capital from traditional upstream E&P investments to new alternative energy investments, as well as the role of ESG and an evolving regulatory environment in drawing investors towards cleaner energy assets.
“As we go forward, we continue to see not only an ESG push and regulatory push towards cleaner fuels, but you see solar and wind and battery storage have a competitive cost supply so that you can put those sources of generation into the power stack without heavy reliance on subsidies…that is going to create another wave of immense change here,” commented Jacobson.
